Kyle Stolk

Coach and Camp Manager

Kyle Stolk is one of the coaches which lay the foundation of Aqua Exclusives

Stolk’s impressive track record includes a bronze medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay at the 2014 European Championships and a silver medal in the same event at the 2016 European Championships. He has also represented the Netherlands in both the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games, reaching the semifinals of the men’s 100m freestyle in both competitions.

But Stolk’s achievements don’t stop there. In 2021, he won gold in the 4x100m freestyle relay at the European Championships, setting a new European record in the process. With his unwavering focus and dedication to the sport, Stolk is a true inspiration to swimmers everywhere.

Kyle did start coaching after his impressive career.

Sjaak Kagchelland

Coach

Kagchelland’s coaching career spanned several decades and included working with the Hoofddrop-based swimming club, ZPCH. He was known for his innovative and disciplined coaching methods, which focused on improving the swimmer’s technique and stamina, as well as their mental preparation for competition.

One of Kagchelland’s most successful swimmers was Imani de Jong, who won several national and International medals under his guidance. His coaching also helped to produce other successful Dutch swimmers.

Kagchelland believes in developing swimmers as individuals and was known for his ability to tailor his coaching to each swimmer’s unique strengths and weaknesses. He also emphasized the importance of discipline and hard work in achieving success in the sport of swimming.

Jennie Nijenhuis

Coach

Jennie Nijenhuis is a highly respected and accomplished Dutch swim coach, who has been a driving force behind the success of many swimmers in the Netherlands. For the past 23 years, she has served as the head coach of the swim team ZPC in Hoogeveen, where she has helped to develop and train numerous swimmers to compete at the national and international level.

Under Nijenhuis’s leadership, ZPC has become one of the top swimming clubs in the Netherlands, with many of its swimmers achieving significant success in competitions across the country. She has a reputation for being an excellent motivator and a meticulous coach, who pays close attention to every aspect of her swimmers’ training and development.

Overall, Jennie Nijenhuis’s dedication and commitment to swimming have been an inspiration to many swimmers in the Netherlands. Her expertise and passion for the sport have helped to produce many successful swimmers, and her legacy will continue to be felt for many years to come.
